Set an employee as (temporary) unavailable

 

If an employee is temporarily unavailable, you can enter this in Skedify. In this way, customers can not make an appointment with your employee on these specific days.

 

 The employee is absent for a few days

If the employee is absent only for a few days, you can mark those days as unavailable by making exceptions to his / her availability.

  1. Go to My Team> Team
  2. Select the desired employee
  3. Click the Availability tab
  4. Click on "Add exception" below the time window
  5. The unavailability can be entered for each absent day.

 

 The employee is absent for an indefinite period

If the employee is absent for an indefinite period (eg illness), you can turn off his / her online planning status. As a result, no new agreements can be made for this employee via the website.

  1. Go to My Team> Team
  2. Select the employee on the detail screen
  3. Turn off the 'Planning' setting

 

An alternative to make an employee unavailable for an indefinite period,  is to deactivate him / her. You can do this by turning off his / her Status.

  1. Go to My Team> Team
  2. Select the absent employee
  3. On the detail screen, turn off the 'Status' setting

Note: the employee will no longer be able to log in! The employee is deactivated.
