If needed, you can mute guests in your meeting. Most common use for muting guests is to prevent background noise or in larger meetings with multiple guests attending.
Do note that, when a host mutes guests, guests can not unmute themselves. In order to unmute, an additional action is required from the host.
Mute one guest
Make sure the participant list is selected
Click the participant you wish to mute, in the menu, select "mute"
The mute icon will appear next to the guest's name.
To unmute, follow the same procedure, but click "Unmute"
Mute all guests
As host, click on the three dots top left to open the control menu
In the control menu, select Mute all guests
The mute icon will appear next to the guests names.
To unmute, follow the same procedure, but click "Unmute all Guests"
